SESSION 2

In the second session, as in each session, the video of the explorer is watched. Then, they get back to the worksheet of invertebrates from the previous session, but this time all the pupils share their agreements with me. Using Wheel decide, I ask someone of every group. I provide another piece of scaffolding, so that they can follow what I ask and answer using one of the several options. Then, the pupils watch a video of the explorer explaining what is an invertebrate. Afterwards, in their collaborative groups, students play a game of classification of the different characteristics of invertebrates.  Finally, in order to reinforce what they have learned, each of the pupils creates a mind map selecting one characteristic specifically, such as mobility, habitat, etc..
